The successful launch event highlighted the genetic potential of the Efficiency Plus and its promising local performance, as well as a strong collaboration supporting Philippine producers.
Philippines – October 2026 – Hubbard, in close collaboration with its Philippine distributor Marcela Farms, successfully hosted a launch event on October 1, 2026, introducing the Hubbard Efficiency Plus to key stakeholders in the Philippine broiler industry.
The event welcomed approximately 30 representatives from 10 poultry companies across the country, alongside the Hubbard and Marcela Farms teams. It provided an opportunity to showcase the breed’s genetic potential, share promising results already achieved under local conditions and highlight Marcela Farms’ capacity to supply high-quality and healthy parent stock locally.
Showcasing Hubbard Efficiency Plus in the Philippines
Following a welcome dinner on September 30th, participants attended a series of presentations covering the Philippine poultry market, Hubbard Efficiency Plus performance and best management practices.
Dany Iskandar (Sales Manager South Asia) (1) introduced Hubbard, while Daniel Gomes (Asia Business Manager) (2) provided an overview of the local poultry market. Mosru (Ehsanul Kabir – Regional Technical Manager) (7) presented performance benchmarking, followed by Dr. John Lemuel (Philippines and Malaysia Technical Manager) (3) on best management practices. Dr. Chad (4) from Marcela Farms highlighted the promising results already achieved with Hubbard genetics in the Philippines.

A strong collaboration for future growth
The event also highlighted the successful collaboration between Hubbard and Marcela Farms, combining Hubbard’s genetic expertise and technical support with Marcela Farms’ local production capabilities, including its recently established grandparent breeding operation.
“Marcela Farms is very happy and proud of the success of the Hubbard Efficiency Plus launch event, and we are equally proud of our collaboration with Hubbard,” said Ms. Honey (5), owner of Marcela Farms. “We are truly grateful for Hubbard’s invaluable support throughout the entire journey, from the initial preparations up to the successful completion of our GP Farm. We look forward to continuing this affiliation and bringing the benefits of Hubbard genetics to more broiler producers in the Philippines.”
The event also provided an opportunity to introduce Dany Iskandar (1) and Dr. John Lemuel (“Doc Lemuel”) (3) as the new Hubbard commercial and technical managers for the Philippines, while recognising the valuable contributions of App (Boonyarat Temee) (6) and Mosru (Ehsanul Kabir) (7) in re-establishing Hubbard’s presence and developing the collaboration with Marcela Farms (in the picture below).
