Yannick Levantard Appointed as Area Manager East and Southern Africa
EMEA – Hubbard is pleased to announce that Yannick Levantard has been appointed as Area Manager for the East and Southern Africa Region. He succeeds Jean Lebec, who has left the company to pursue new personal and professional interests. Yannick will report directly to Bruno Briand, Global Sales Director Hubbard.
Yannick earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with specialisation in Agricultural Extension from the University of Mauritius (2003), followed by a Master’s degree in Agricultural Development Economics from the University of Reading, UK (2005).
Over the next 19 years, Yannick built a strong career at Avipro Co. Ltd in Mauritius, where he successfully held various roles including Broiler Operations Officer, Broiler Operations Manager and Breeding Operations Manager. He developed extensive management experience and contributed to several key projects.
In 2019, Yannick joined Avitech SA in Madagascar as Operations Manager. Since 2023 he has assumed the role of General Manager, leading strategic business initiatives and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Yannick brings a solid background in operations management, business development, and an in-depth understanding of the regional poultry market. He will focus on strengthening and growing our business in East and Southern Africa, support the Hubbard Efficiency Plus distributor in East Africa and work in close collaboration with their local Customer Support team. Yannick will also play a key role in maintaining and expanding our excellent business relationships in the dynamic and growing African poultry market.

My motivation is to blend technical excellence with customer focus to support the growth of Hubbard’s business in East and Southern Africa.
