Arjan Meekhof joins Hubbard as Commercial Technical Manager (Nrth NL, GE, DK)
Europe – Hubbard is pleased to announce that Arjan Meekhof has joined us as Commercial Technical Manager for the northern part of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. effective March 1, 2026. Arjan’s addition to the team reflects the increase in our activities in this region and plans for further growth. Arjan will report directly to Paul van Boekholt, Business Manager NW Europe.
Arjan has over thirty years of experience in the poultry industry. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry, he first worked as a Poultry Consultant for Broilers and Turkeys, followed by positions as an Account Manager at a broiler slaughterhouse and a broiler hatchery based in the Netherlands. From 2016, he was GP Manager and Account Manager at a primary breeding company with responsibilities for sales in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as grandparent stock farms and rearing farms. For the past six years, he worked for a large Dutch feed mill as an Account Manager for broilers in Northwest Germany, supporting existing broiler farmers and acquiring new farmers.
Following a two-month onboarding period, he is now responsible for the sales and technical support of Hubbard customers in the northern part of the Netherlands, as well as Germany and Denmark.
Henri Bel, who joined Hubbard in 2006, remains responsible as Commercial Technical Manager in the southern part of the Netherlands, as well as Belgium, Austria, and in the near future Switzerland.
Paul van Boekholt added: “We are very pleased to welcome Arjan to the Hubbard team. With his strong commercial and technical background in breeders and broilers and 23 years of experience in the German market, he will make a significant contribution to the follow up with our existing customers using Hubbard Premium breeds and to the further expansion of our activities in this region.
