Shane Noble appointed as Senior Technical Manager Europe

Europe – Hubbard has appointed Shane Noble as Senior Technical Manager Europe. effective April 1, 2026. Shane is based in the United Kingdom and reports directly to Dr Roberto Yamawaki, Global Technical Director.

Shane Noble began his practical career in the poultry sector in 2002 as a breeder farm worker for the largest hatchery company in the United Kingdom. He was soon promoted to Assistant Farm Manager and Site Manager. In the following years, Shane rose through the ranks and became Area Manager for the Western Region, where he was responsible for several breeder farms and rearing farms with his team achieving multiple “Flock of the Year” awards in the United Kingdom. Early 2019, he was promoted to head all farming, including a hatchery, across the Western Region of the UK. In 2025, this role was extended to include the planning of breeder placements and 6.5 million chicks per week across 6 hatcheries for a large integrator. He was recently also Chairman of the Breeders and Hatcheries in the British Poultry Council (B.P.C) and was recently certified as a Chartered Manager by the Chartered Manager Institute (CMI) in the UK.

 

After a three-month onboarding period, Shane will be responsible for leading the Hubbard technical team in Europe and will also serve as a key link between the field and the R&D department. During the absence of Patrick Nicholls, Shane will also manage the Sales and Technical follow-up in the UK and Ireland, supported by James Bentley and Hannah Muus. In this role, Shane reports to Paul van Boekholt, Business Manager NW Europe.
